Daniëlle Van Zadelhoff
Daniëlle van Zadelhoff is a Dutch photographer who is devoted to capturing emotion. Vulnerability and loneliness are recurring themes in her portraits. Her work invites us to pause for a moment and consider the person behind the image. Her work is often compared to that of the Flemish Primitives, partly due to her use of chiaroscuro, which creates an intimate atmosphere and intensifies the emotions of her subjects. At the same time, she maintains a modern look, using classical techniques in a contemporary way. She has built up an impressive portfolio in a short period of time, her work has been exhibited in various international museums.
