De streek rond de Damse Vaart in het Brugse Ommeland trapt de zomer van 2023 af met een nieuwe, unieke culturele belevenis. Te voet, met de fiets of met de nostalgische boot de Lamme Goedzak, je begeeft je tijdens een state-of-the-art kunstroute tussen meer dan 25 kunstwerken van gerenommeerde Belgische en internationale kunstenaars. Je kunt deze unieke kunstroute bovendien combineren met een wijnproeverij op het wijndomein Mérula, gelegen op de site van de Blauwe Zaal. Dit buitengewone culturele gebeuren is een initiatief van ondernemer Luc Beke en curator Annelies Ysebaert.

Voorhout Monumentaal 2023

Ronald A. Westerhuis gets a place in front of the Escher Museum in The Hague this year. Voorhout Monumental is in collaboration with artist association Pulchri Studio. The Lange Voorhout is one of the most famous streets in the city, known for its historic monuments, buildings and sculpture exhibitions.


 

Ijsselbiënnale '23

The IJssel Biennial is an art event about the relationship between man and landscape. The programme consists of two parts: an international outdoor exhibition with temporary, monumental and stimulating works of art along the IJssel and an extensive accompanying programme.

Bank Delen

De expo 02.23


For the opening of their new office in Waregem, Bank Delen, guest of honour of Brafa 2022, asked Annelies Ysebaert to curate an exhibition. A solo show was set up featuring Arne Quinze's floral paintings and sculptures. The expo highlights the floral series, alongside some models that serve as preliminary studies for his project in Riyadh.

Art Flow Zwolle


The Dutch municipality of Zwolle put forward Annelies Ysebaert as curator for Art Flow Zwolle, a project in collaboration with Ralph Keuning, museum director of De Fundatie. Art Flow Zwolle is a summer art route through Zwolle. The project exhibited local and international artists. A selection was made from sculptures by Arne Quinze, Ronald A. Westerhuis and Koen Vanmechelen, among others.

Knokke '21 


On Knokke-Heist's Zeedijk is one of physical tension, monumental rhythm and a literal and figurative intensity created by French sculptor Nicolas Lavarenne.
Central to the artist's work is the human figure, stilt-walkers.

Participating in numerous exhibitions at home and abroad, he has gradually gained a growing reputation for his monumental works, which are often displayed in or next to historically significant spaces
